The Mercedes Benz Mercedes Star Diagnose SD Connect SD C4 Wireless Multiplexer diagnoses and programs all Mercedes Benz cars, trucks, buses and other vehicles.
This is the latest version of this device. It can be connected wirelessly to a PC. The system examines every part of the body, chassis and engine, including every system, in detail. Diagnosing and resetting DTCs is a process that requires reading and resetting codes. The data contained real-time playback capabilities. Resetting adaptation values and the component activation process are completely removed from the game after this update. All systems like engine, body, instrumentation and chassis are coded in the programming process

You need to flash the CSD to firmware 2.12.

Good quality
The C4 works well. The not-old-school WiFi module works well and the C4 thinks you are connected to the LAN all the time, no matter if you use a LAN or Wifi cable. The overall build quality and soldering was really good. The fuses are 15A and are useless, I will make them with 2 or 3A. Mov are usable I think (20D470K).
I made an improvement on the poorly placed WiFi antenna. A PCB antenna right above the metal housing is really bad for the signal. Although the signal was ok before. First the high gain 2.4GHz + 5GHz antenna is useless, because the module (HLK-RM08S) can only do 2.4GHz and in a mobile use case an omnidirectional antenna would be better.
So I replaced it with an old laptop antenna which I mounted as far away from the metal casing as possible. Result: a stronger Wifi signal.
