Installation steps:
VW Transponder Key Matching with 5 Digit Connection Code
Procedure to add transponder keys to vehicles with separate immobilizer box:
(German car from A to year 97, Golf 3, Passat B4, Transporter, Lupo, Sharan)
turn on the ignition with a new key.
Select: Immobilizer->Login: Enter the 5-digit Login Code (add 0 if you have a 4-digit Login Code). For example, if your connection is 1234, enter 1234 -> save
go to adaptation
enter 01 in “channel number”
write
enter the number corresponding to the total number of keys to match, the “stored value” is the number of keys currently matched. For example, enter 2 -> save
turn off the ignition and remove the key
insert the following key to turn the ignition on and on again. Wait 15 seconds. Repeat this step with each key until all keys match.
Select: immobilizer->connection. Enter Login Code. Go to Adaptation
enter 00 in “channel number”
enter 0 and save. This will learn the ECU with the immobilizer.
