25 kinds of Reset Service special functions:
- Oil Reset Service: Performs reset of the engine oil life system, which calculates an optimal oil life change interval based on vehicle driving conditions and climate, and turns off the warning light;
- Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) Service: Maintains the electronic brake system safely and effectively by deactivating and activating the brake control system, helping to control brake fluid, opening and closing the brake pads, and adjusting the brakes after replacement disc or pads, etc.
- Steering Angle Sensor Service (SAS): Performs steering angle sensor (SAS) calibration, which permanently stores the current steering wheel position as a direct position in the steering angle sensor eeprom. Once the calibration is successfully completed, the steering angle sensor fault memory is automatically cleared.
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Service: TPMS service function includes displaying sensor IDs from vehicle ECU, inputting TPMS sensor replacement IDs and testing sensors
- DPF Service: Perform many functions to the Diesel Particulate Filter system. The tool manages DPF regeneration, DPF component replacement learning and DPF learning after engine control unit replacement.

- Auto Scan - The auto scan feature performs a full scan of the ECUs in the vehicle system to locate and retrieve DTCs.
- Control Units - displays a menu for selecting all available control units of the test vehicle.
MaxiCOM diagnostic system supports 4 methods for vehicle identification

1 – Automatic VIN Scanner
- MaxiCOM diagnostic system has the latest VIN based auto VIN scan function to identify vehicles and scan all diagnostic ECUs and perform diagnostics on the selected system. This feature is compatible with 2006 and newer vehicles.

2 – Manual VIN Entry:
- For vehicles that do not support the automatic VIN scan function, you can manually enter the vehicle's VIN.

3 – Automatic selection:
- Auto VIN Scan can be selected after selecting the test vehicle manufacturer.

4 – Manual selection:
- When the vehicle VIN is not automatically retrievable via the vehicle ECU, or the specific VIN is unknown, the vehicle can be selected manually.
- ECU Information: Retrieves and displays specific information for the control unit under test, including unit type, version numbers, and other specifications.
- Read the Fault Codes: Displays detailed information of DTC records extracted from the test vehicle's ECU. On some vehicles, freeze frame data can also be retrieved for viewing.
- Clear Fault Codes: Clears DTC records and other data from the test vehicle's ECU.
- Living data:Retrieves and displays live data and parameters from the test vehicle's ECU. View live data in text, graph and analog for easy data review.
OBD functions with AUTEL MK808 tablet:
- Code Reading: Show detailed description of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTCs)
- Clearing Codes and Resetting: Turns off Check Engine Light (MIL), clears codes and resets monitors
- Data flow: Reads and displays live ECU/PCM data stream, graph plotting functions and stores freeze frame data.
- I/M Readiness: Indicates whether the vehicle's various emissions-related systems are functioning properly and are ready for inspection and maintenance testing.
- Read live data stream: Displays information from a vehicle's continuous data stream in a live graphical (waveform) display.
- Show Freeze Frame Data: Check certain vehicle conditions that are recorded by the on-board computer at the time the emissions-related fault occurs.
- O2 Sensor Test: Allows you to retrieve and view O2 sensor monitor test results for the most recent tests performed from the vehicle's on-board computer.
- On-board monitor test: Retrieves and displays test results for emissions-related generator set components and systems.
- Read Vehicle Information: View information like VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), CID (Calibration ID) and CVN (Calibration Verification Number) etc.
- Component Test: Some vehicle components can be operated by commands sent by the scanner to test their operation.
